Affirmative action on Minority Athletes

We would like to study if affirmative action in sports has an affect on players credibility.  Affirmative action can be described as a policy that takes into consideration under-representation during selection process. We believe that people believe that some minority players are not as qualified as other players because of affirmative action.  We will try and gain further insight on questions such as is affirmative action fair? and the impact it has on minority players?  We will be looking at two scholarly works (one article and one book) to gain a better understanding of affirmative action.  I can't think of any questions about the project thus far but if they come up, I'll ask!
